Tile Manufacturing

Globe Machines has a number of concrete roof tile extruders to suit all levels of production targets.

Globe's standard range of concrete roof tile extruders

Type M series

This hydraulic cylinder powered machine is ideal for low levels of production and is rated up to 10 concrete roof tiles per minute.

Type S series

This hydraulic motor powered machine is designed for medium level of production and is rated up to 35 concrete roof tiles per minute.

Type U series

This electrically powered machine is designed to meet the higher levels of production targets with a maximum rating of 140 concrete roof tiles per minute.

Custom Designed Extruders

Globe will also custom design and develop extruders and product handling equipment for specialist products to the customer's specification.

Standard Equipment

Every Globe Machines concrete roof tile extruder comes complete with an automatic knife. The knife can be single or double cut and a number of tile nose conditioning options are available.

Versatility

Our extruders have the versatility to produce many different profiles plus ridge capping. Should other accessories, such as 76 degree Barge, 90 degree Barge, Round Ridge or Angle Ridge be required, they can also be made on the same extruder as is used to manufacture the standard field concrete roof tile.

Tooling and Moulds

All Globe Machines roof tile extruders have common tooling and use the same moulds. Tooling can be manufactured from high grade tool steel or from long wearing hard metal. Making head maintenance jigs are also part of our standard products range.

Conveyor Systems

We design and manufacture a number of conveyor and turntable solutions that form the system of conveying moulds and tiles to and from the extruder. Conveyors and turntables are heavy duty and are designed and manufactured with ‘suitability for task' as a primary goal. Floor mounted conveyors and turntables are designed and manufactured in such a way that it is easy to clean up around them.
